DIY Instructions - NOTE - Our 0007 product has now been modified to featuring a satin side to help with glare for newbuilds please ensure you install the satin side to the hot tin for the best result. New videos to come showing this new feature.
How to Measure Simply measure the length and width of each area to be insulated eg roof (remember to allow for the pitch), walls, & doors. eg 10m long X 6m wide roof = 60sq meters (60m2) In this case add up to 10m2 for pitch & 5% for overlaps eg 60 + 10 + 5% = 73.5m2 (75m2 roll)
Go ahead and measure all walls and doors in the same manner. (If unsure send us your dimensions and we will work it out for you)
Once again send us your shed dimensions (height to the eves & width) let us know if you want he whole shed insulated inc roller doors (they insulate very well and still roll up and down effectively)and we will send you a no obligation quote. .........................................................................................
Safety "0007" shed insulation is shiny on both sides so you must take precautions when fitting in direct sunlight on a new build. Wear good quality sunglasses, sun screen, and clothing to protect you from the sun. Remember the old SLIP, SLOP, SLAP !! All outside work should be done on calm days as "0007" shed insulation is very lightweight and it may be difficult to handle on a windy day. We would advise you start in the early morning and then again in late afternoon to avoid the heat of the day (especially in summer). If however you are installing" 0007" shed insulation in an existing shed none of the above applies and you should have a very smooth installation.

"0007" Shed Insulation fitting options
1. New build sheds - use standard insulation safety wire
2. Existing sheds & doors - using standard adhesives such as liquid nails, silicone, or similar. * This option is inexpensive as both liquid nails and silicone are fairly cheap at the local hardware store. * the only downside of this fitting option is that it is important to clean the surface you wish to adhere to on the shed or door first. If you wish at anytime to remove the insulation there will be an adhesive residue left on shed or door and the foil will be destroyed.
3. Existing shed & doors -using button magnets or straps * This option is excellent as you may adjust, remove, or replace the insulation easily and there is no need to clean surfaces first. * The downside is it is a little more expensive than glue but a very good option. 1.2m straps are $3.75 each and we recommend 2 per m2 on roof and roller doors where there is gravity and movement , and 1 per m2 on walls accompanied by a few button magnets
